MobileTrax LLC, a leading mobile and wireless industry analyst firm, announced today the winners of the 2012 Mobility Awards at a banquet held at the New Orleans Marriott at the Convention Center during the CTIA Wireless 2012 trade show in New Orleans.  The 2012 Mobility Awards were selected by 37 industry-leading press and analysts who cover the mobile and wireless market.  Thus, the Mobility Awards recognize the best mobile computing and wireless data communications products and services introduced to the market during the past year.

Apple products and services won in eight categories.  Amazon’s Kindle Fire won in three categories including Rookie of the Year and Product of the Year.  Google’s acquisition of Motorola Mobility took the top position in the M&A Transaction category.
