Bitstream Inc. (NASDAQ: BITS) today announced that its BOLTTM Mobile Browser has been selected by the editors of CNET’s Webware as a finalist in this year’s Webware 100 Awards for Browsing, recognizing BOLT as one of the most innovative new web services. The finalists are selected by the editors of Webware, while the ultimate winner will be selected via public voting. The final results will be announced on Tuesday, May 19, 2009.

BOLT has taken the mobile browsing space by storm since its public beta release at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, with hundreds of thousands of users worldwide. Feedback from these initial beta users resulted in a significantly enhanced Beta2 version, released in April during CTIA, earning BOLT glowing editorial reviews and user feedback.
