Nominations now open for the 2013 Mobility Awards; winners to be announced at CES in Las Vegas

MobileTrax, a leading market research firm covering the mobile and wireless market, announced today the 2013 Mobility Awards banquet will be held on Jan. 10, 2013, as part of the 2013 International CES®, the world’s most important technology event, taking place in Las Vegas, Jan. 8-11.
Nominations for the 2013 Mobility Awards are now open and are being accepted in 64 categories as well as three special award categories: Rookie of the Year, Most Important M&A Transaction and Product of the Year. Nominations for the Mobility Awards close on Nov. 30, 2012.
The winners of the 2013 Mobility Awards will be announced at the banquet, which will be attended by senior executives representing wireless operators, handset makers, wireless device manufacturers, software and service providers, venture capitalists, investment bankers, industry analysts and select members of the press. Glenn Lurie, president of emerging devices at AT&T Mobility, will give the keynote address. A number of young companies including Egnyte and Pelican Imaging will present at the dinner as well.

. The only requirement for nominating a product or service for a 2013 Mobility Award is that it be in service or shipped during 2012.
The Mobility Award selection committee, made up of notable mobile and wireless industry analysts, editors and bloggers, will judge nominated products and services to determine a winner in each of the categories. There is no charge to be nominated or selected, and all winners will be included in a press release issued after the Mobility Awards banquet.
