Spendvision Honored in Eighth Annual International Business AwardsSM

The award-winning Spendvision Platform is honored for the second year running

Spendvision, a global provider of total transaction management solutions, has earned a Distinguished Honoree medal for the Best New Product or Service of the Year for Financial Services in the 2011 International Business Awards. The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in business. Honorees were selected from more than 3,000 entries received from organizations and individuals in more than 40 nations.

Spendvision’s Payables Financing module makes improving working capital and paying suppliers on time an attainable goal for large businesses with multiple supplier relationships to manage. As approved invoices are uploaded directly to the Spendvision platform, payment is authorised either immediately or on a date nominated by the customer, and credit is made available for the supplier to withdraw from the purchasing card via a merchant terminal at the agreed time. On the buyer’s side, the payment transaction is automatically matched to the invoice on the Spendvision platform and ready to be coded or extracted to the finance system.

“The Payables Financing module of the Spendvision Platform allows for the timely and accurate payment of invoices from suppliers. With the introduction of this solution, businesses not only reap the benefits of improved supplier relationships but also improved cash flow,” said Shane Bruhns, COO of Spendvision. “Being named a distinguished honoree in the esteemed IBA award program for the second year in a row is further validation of our success and highlights our ongoing dedication to helping our customers achieve their business goals with the Spendvision platform.”

This is the latest award for Spendvision, who most recently won a coveted Expense Management Solutions Provider of the Year Award in the prestigious BTTB Travel Management Awards, which were announced at the BTTB Australia 2011 conference, Australasia’s leading business travel event.

Organisations all over the world are eligible to compete in The International Business Awards, and can enter in any of more than 40 categories from Company of the Year and Best New Product of the Year to Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year and Executive of the Year.

“Entries to The International Business Awards grew by more than 80% this year, and that illustrates the increasing importance of the IBAs worldwide,” said Michael Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards, presenters of the IBAs. “We congratulate all of the honorees, and we look forward to recognizing them for their achievements at our gala event in Abu Dhabi on 11 October.”
